The Sanctuary Seminar
Did you grow up afraid of God, judgement, and how you were saved? Join us for The Sanctuary Series, a six-part journey through Scripture that answers the questions your heart has been asking all along: is God actually safe or is He out to get me? Do Jesus and the Father have the same heart posture towards me? How does God deal with sin and yet save me? Come find out! The door to His house, and to His very heart, is wide open!
Join us September 17-19! Six sessions will be held Thursday at 7 pm, Friday at 7 pm (2 sessions), and Saturday at 9:30 am, 11 am, and 2 pm.
Produce Giveaway
We are happy to partner with Jon Henry General Store and Immanuel’s Ground: The Shenandoah Valley Academy Farm in providing healthy food to our community.
Produce Giveaway dates for 2026: August 23 & October 11! Come see us at the New Market Park (9670 Cadet Rd.) Shelter #3 at 10 AM.
During the cold winter months, produce is distributed from the New Market SDA Church instead of the park. A car line will form in the parking lot and we will put boxed produce in your vehicles under the car canopy.

Community Orchestra
The Valley Community Orchestra is a newly formed ensemble hosted by the New Market Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our goal is to provide opportunities for experienced musicians in the Shenandoah Valley to perform a wide variety of orchestral repertoire. While pieces for the first concert cycle have not yet been selected, we intend to play known orchestral works such as Brahms' Academic Festival Overture, Sibelius' Finlandia, or Schubert's 5th Symphony.
Our director, Brody Wiedemann, has over a decade of experience teaching math and music and has joined the faculty at Shenandoah Valley Academy. He recently completed a master's in orchestral conducting from Ohio University. Partnering with the New Market SDA Church, he is excited to work with you in this new ensemble!
All rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The first concert will be on Sunday, November 15 at 4pm.

Candlelight Concerts
A beloved community tradition for 51 years, the SVA Candlelight Concerts will inspire you with the sounds of the season. Come, join us as we celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth, and all the blessings He brought to our world. Experience the joy of the season at SVA Candlelight Concerts with Choirs, Handbells, Orchestra, Strings, and Band, finishing with carols being sung surrounded by candlelight. December 11th at 8:00 pm and December 12th at 4:00 pm.
FLAG Camp
F.L.A.G. (Fun Learning About God) Camp is a Christian day camp that has been giving kids across the United States a wholesome and exciting summer camp experience for over forty years. F.L.A.G. Camp was founded on the idea that character-building activities, positive role models, and having fun while learning about God, are the best ingredients for children’s summertime fun.
